Frank Maduka JP: We are the problem

By ChDubem Michael

His youthfulness, Comrade Frank Maduka JP, yesterday call on Anambra youth leaders at all levels to be a good example of quality and effective leadership, as they're the mirror of leadership to the society with enormous influence to the government and governance. Hence, that greed and fear should not be a motivation of their actions, rather commitment for development of Anambra State and Nigerian Society.

He said:

"Our society structured in three classes, upper, middle, lower; with the lower class having the greatest numerical strength and in more dire need of basic amenities. Though the upper class has an obvious limitless influence and control on both classes, but their strength rests solely on the desperation, greed and fear of the middle class who have ceaselessly betrayed  the trust of the masses in servitude to the privileged few all in the vain efforts to curry favour from the big wigs.

For clarity, we make up the middle class. We, the youth leaders, student leaders, community leaders, town leaders, union heads, media, church leaders and even traditional leaders. We're the mirror through which the people view and understand leadership. We influence their actions and reactions towards any government but we abuse these privileges and God given influence because of greed and fear.

Let us stop blaming others, we are the problem. We are greedy and fearful leaders. Any day we choose our state first, Anambra will take a step forward to progress. Let's not forget, that it is our collective responsibility to institute for ourselves a government friendly with our future. And my that day never come, God's Grace and Favour will depart from us , only fro us to contend with the people's fury.

God bless you all for Anambra youths".
