A Prayerful Wife Saves Her Home from Afflictions

He, who finds a wife, finds a good thing and obtains favour from Lord (Pro.18:22). Thus, an excellent wife is a crown of her husband, but she who shames him is like rottenness in his bones (Pro.12:4). So, who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies. Therefore if women have been blessed with these awesome qualities, it means that they’re every man’s desire. Then for this reason, a man shall leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they’ll become one fresh (Gen.2:24).

Regardless of all the above qualities and blessings, some women seem not to know or have forgotten that they’re are wonderfully and uniquely made to build and mediate peace, bring joy and happiness, in the family and society at large. Or perhaps some have chosen to be otherwise, some of the women have been in centre of chaos and disunity at home and society.

Then I will say, remember a good woman or wife makes her home and not to destroy it. She calms the fire not igniting it. She promotes peace and joy, not disharmony and sadness. She looks out for her husband especially in trial moments, and takes care of the home. She kills the sorrow in her home and fills the whole atmosphere with joy. She welcomes the suggestions of her husband and respects his authority. She has faith and believes that all things will be fine no matter the situation. She casts her burdens upon the Lord and patiently waits for His answers. She believes in equality and not discrimination. She supports her husband for the well-being of the family.

There are women and ladies but the ones that will make a good wife are scarce and not easy to find. Any man that begets a good wife will never gnash his teeth. He will never feel frustrated in the midst of problems. He will live longer. Such man will forever love and cherish you.

Any home void of a good wife and mother will be shredded off by the storm of life. Such home will wither in a moment but the very home that begets the good wife and mother will have every cause to smile, be happy and filled with joy.
