There is no Mr Perfect out there, so don't do checklist of the type of guy you want. Rather, know what you want in a man. A guy himself would understand if
you were going by a checklist and would not like to be subjected to that.
Hence, be confident of what you like but don't too rigid. Give it and him a chance if he (friend of yours) is pretty close to what you have in mind; and perhaps you feel that way about him.
Do Not Lay Ground Rules

If you do so you might just end up
missing good people. Give everyone a fair chance. This experience might be fun and at
the same time frustrating if you go by checklists you have made
earlier in your mind. Play it natural and given the physical appearances as
well as personality a fair chance to please you.
Accept There's No Perfect One
When you fall in love, find the imperfections passable and overlook them gladly. Hence, while looking for Mr. Right, let
the nonsensical stuff be, and do not pay much attention to it unless is capable of coming between both of you.
