Some Reasons Why Men Are Unfaithful To Their Wife

It is the dream of most ladies to have their own husband, and for the husband to make love to her alone. Not just for a week, a month or even a year, but for a lifetime. However, it is sad and unfortunate that many ladies or women are not enjoying this. Why? The truth is that, some men are not faithful to their spouse. Perhaps they engage in sexual immorality. Then I ask another question, who is to be blame for this unfaithfulness in marriage; the man or the woman? Well, you can debate that if you care. But apparently, my opinion is to help us understand why some men cheat on their wives. Therefore these men wallow in their moral laxity, because many wives have failed to lived up to responsibilities in order to have their husbands to themselves for life.

In a survey conducted during a male programme; issues of infidelity was raised, and these men were asked to give reasons while some men sleep around or have affairs with other women or ladies they’re not married to while their wives are still available to them. It may interest you to know that the following reasons were given:

• Sexual denial
• Lack of sexual creativity
• Dirtiness
• Hatred of sex by their wives
• Temptation from house girls, their wives’ friends, and other women
• Wrong notions about sex by their wives
• Lack of sexual fulfillment satisfaction
• Pornography
• Dead spiritual life

Hence, the above and much more other reasons are factors contributing to men being unfaithful in marriage, though the reasons may not have answered the question of who is responsible for marriage infidelity. Consequently, adultery is a killer. It destroys marriage; the souls of men and women and their bodies as well. Thus, when one is involved in adultery he carries hot coals on his chest.

Can you carry fire against your chest without burning your clothes? Can you walk on hot coals without burning your feet? It is just as dangerous to sleep with another man’s wife. Whoever does it will suffer. But a man who commits adultery doesn’t have any sense. He is just destroying himself (Prov. 6:27-29, 32).

Be faithful to your own wife and give your love to her alone. Children that you have by other women will do you no good. You children should grow up to help you, not strangers. So be happy with your wife and find your joy with the lady you married; pretty and graceful as a deer. Let her charms keep you happy, and let her surround you with her love (Prov. 5:15-19).

Wives, you can see that you have a responsibility to fulfill; to help your husband make your marriage with him work, and be void of infidelity.
