Tobenna: Ndi-Biafra - I simply let fools to pride in their foolery

Tobenna Obiano known for being out spoken on facebook shares his thought on IPOB comments concerning an amazon and a trailblazer Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. Thus he post the following below on his facebook wall:

Ndi-Biafra:

The worst making of any generation is to see, hear and feel wrongs including misleadership and in this case, abuse, insults, threats and brainwashing taking place, yet one doesn't act. I can't sit and cross my hands while fellow Igbo's are being deceived and misled. I choose to be insulted, but perharps stand on the path of truth, atleast for posterity sake.

If Nigeria's bountifully talented storyteller, an amazon and a trailblazer, the beautiful and amazing Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie who is by the way making waves worldover could be rubbished by Biafran and IPOB apologists for refuting a destructive claim which turned out to be a lie that has been manufactured and leveled against her by them, they went "gaga" abusing, insulting, shaming and ridiculing our own Ada Anambra. Ofcourse, she had already corrected the already wrongly created impression about her stand.

And suddenly, these same fellow Igbos who pridefully shared the generic make-up statement they claimed was made by her, rose to begin to question who is even Chimamanda Adichie and what's her contribution to Igboland?

Ofcourse, majority of those who ask these questions are not only poorly trained ignorant illiterates, they are even myopic, sentimentally-driven and lazy to make inquiries on the wonders of this amazon and the face she represents worldover.

For the records, in recent time, no person in the whole world, atleast in the last one decade or so, has equaled her contribution as far as the true story of ndi-Igbo and the build-up to and after effects of the quite avoidable Biafran pogrom. It was beautifully captured in storytelling form in her multi-award winning novel, "HALF OF A YELLOW SUN", which in the words of Africa's most populous and most sold author of all time, late Prof. Chinua Achebe, "Adichie arrived fully made". The book has been reproduced in a movie form.

Today, love her or hate her, she is a world figure, a global brand, a celebrated woman and an award-wining writer. She is the loud voice coming closely behind Achebe who had told the Biafran story like never before. She is a rare gem and a great gift to Igboland. Ngozi Adichie is an institution!

If Adichie who is a world figure could be easily written off by these ignoramuses, then since they have channeled their e-thugs, cyber-bullies and shameless nonentities towards I, Tobenna Obiano, who am I?

I simply let fools to pride in their foolery.
