How do you spend your time? In whatever you're doing, how you spend your time is key to how successful you'll be. How you spend your time tells who you are. Thus be mindful of what creates your life experience; what you commit your time to. Do an evaluation of how to spend your time. How much time do you spend working on you? How much time do you spend each day on your dreams? Have that been profitable? In the last ninety days, how many books have you read? in the last year what new skill and knowledge have you acquired? What investment have you made for you?
Inspiring the Greatness in you...there are seeds of greatness in you. Don't give up; become better!
You can achieve and attain any height of success you believe in your heart that you can, and commit a quality time to. Believing in yourself is the beginning of all success. Hence, whatever you won't face, you can't fix.

Don’t marry for sex; Marry for the right reason
By ChiDubem Michael
Marriage
means several things to different people, culture and religion regarding the
time and place of the culture and people involved. What for some people are
obvious assumptions are for others unthinkable. No-one is correct: there simply
are different forms of marriage.
No excuses...
We have been raised in a generation of people that give every excuse in the world as to why they're not successful or winning. I want to let you know that you have a choice to what you want and who you want to become. You don't just wake up in the morning negative with dis-function problems and issues randomly pop up. The people in your life are your decision and has a lot influence on you.

No excuse associating with disfunctional people
You have control of your minutes, hours, day, week, month, and year. Stop running around being on the receiving end that whatever people want to double on you, you showed up. You accepted the invite to your house, you invited these people in your life. You're in a relationship with that man, you're a relationship with that woman. That's you.

Aspire to make a difference
I was flunking out of college. I had a 1.7 GPA. I hope of you can't relate. I was sitting in my mother's beauty (saloon) shop. I was looking at the mirror, and I see behind me this woman under the dryer. Every time I look up, she was looking at me. She is just looking at me in the eye. I don't know who she was. But she said, "somebody get me a pen, give a pencil I have a prophecy".

Be consistent: Is key
Have you ever asked yourself, what can I, and only I do, that if done well, will make an extraordinary difference in my situation? Success comes from staying focused at a particular task, the most valuable and important task you could be doing, until you blow and succeed. Every great human achievement is preceded by an extended period of dedicated, concentrated efforts. However, there's little to be gained by digging determinedly, if you're digging in the wrong place.

Fear: the greatest single enemy
Fear is the greatest single enemy of self-confidence and self-fulfillment. It is not that you don't know what to do; it is usually that you are afraid to do what your hearts tell you to do. Strong people have strong weakness as well. Weakness are an inevitable and unavoidable fact of life. You may be strong in a few areas, but weak in hundreds of other areas.

Good company for self growth
Begin associating with winners by first identifying with them mentally. As you think about people you admire, you experience a subtle change in your thought patterns. As a result, however, you begin to attract positive people into your life. At the same time, you activate the law of repulsion. Thus, negative people will start to move away from you. Apparently, as positive, goal oriented people starts to find you interesting, as you become a more positive person, negative people will starts to find you unenjoyable and uninteresting. But in no time, your environment will begin to change for the better.

You can't fix what you will not face
You can't fix what you will not face. "What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us" - Oliver Wendell Holmers. Every door that has closed, you'll find two that have opened because of the change. Positive change often comes in giant leaps. You may have to leave many doubts and doubters behind when you take risks, but the rewards are very often the greatest of your lifetime.

Embrace Change
When you embrace change as a natural part of life, you'll learn to welcome new opportunities and new challenges too. Your fears will diminish and your confidence will grow as you assert more and more control over your life. There may be some setbacks but having taken risks and survived, you'll feel a new self-assurance.

Get rid of Changecosis
Get rid of these attitudes if you want to be successful beyond your imagination; setting low sight, expecting very little of your life, doing nothing - thus won't risk failure, quitting while you're ahead, and settling for less than you want. Anytime you want to stretch and grow, you have to make changes and take risks. Change is part of life, and risk is part of the change process.

Build a quality relationship
Relationships are built on two way streets. They have to be mutually beneficial. Each side has to bring something of value, otherwise they will not endure. However, values are standards by which attitudes are formed. It helps you put your attitude into action, as people gravitate towards what what they love. There's nothing you accomplished or will accomplish that is directly or indirectly result of someone else's help. Really there's no limit to what can be accomplished when no one cares who gets the credit.

Peter Drucker has some sage Advice for how Execs should Respond to Charttesville
By Rick Wartzman
Decades ago, the management guru offered a great example of how corporate execs should take on Nazis and white supremacists: Speak out and don't equivocate.
Peter Drucker has been celebrated as "the man who invented management." In the wake of what unfolded over the last weekend in Charlottesville, Virginia, now is the time for corporate leaders to remember why he invented the discipline of management in the first place: to prevent the Nazis and other like-minded groups from ever rising again.
You're not an island; Build a quality relationship
Growth comes from your ability to embrace the truth even when it is painful. Constructive feedback is invaluable, and having friends who will give it to you is important and necessary for your growth. We all need people in our lives. No one is an island. We need their perspective, their wisdom, their honesty, and their support. The strength of our relationships is one of the greatest measures of the quality of our lives.

Enthous: Spirit within
It takes an inside effort to make an outside difference. To maintain a positive attitude and stay motivated, enthusiasm is a vital tool. Enthusiasm is to attitude what breathing is to life. It enables you apply your gifts more effectively. It engages the spirit that moves within. Enthusiasm derived from Greek words 'enthous' and 'entheos', means God or Spirit within.

Watch your words
The word you speak to others are just as powerful as those you speak to yourself. Life and death are in the power of the tongue. Whether said in love or in anger, words leave a lasting impression. Be mindful of the things you say, particularly in anger. Once released to the universe, words cannot be taken back. Watch your words. If you can't say something nice, is better you don't say anything at all. The reason goes deeper than being polite.

Obviously, by becoming intensely result oriented, you will guarantee yourself a future of success and prosperity. Watch those Soap Opera you watch; A woman is an incubator
God designed the female to be incubator. Her whole body is incubator. An incubator is something that gives life to everything. Whatever you give an incubator, it gives it life and give it back to you. Whatever you give incubator, it multiplies it and give it back to you. Hence, women must be careful of what they listen to, and who they listen to and what they hear, because women incubate everything.
Everyday is an opportunity
What's it that incites you to take action? A motive helps you take action to change your life. It's important to discover what motivates you in order to have the passion you need to achieve your success. Hence, the strongest form of motivation is internal. More so, motivation not permanent. You need to do something every day to maintain your energy, focus and enthusiasm.

I have lost a lot for speaking my mind
By ChiDubem Michael
Michael Ugochukwu Stephens, Nigerian musician popularily known as 'Ruggedman' is on the news, as he tells Sunday Scoop in a chat that he has won himself many enemies along the line of music. More than a decade ago after his burst onto the scene, his name still rings a bell. Speaking with Sunday Scoop, he explained how he managed to remain in the mind of the public;
Remain Faithful and Positive
Are you faced with life challenges? When you go through these challenges don't lose hope; thus you should have faith. Victory is on the other side. Remember at the end of the tunnel there is light. It is important you walk by faith not by sight. Don't let your vision fool you, because you may look around and see that things are not immediately getting better. Hence, this is where faith comes in. Faith is the evidence of things not seen but hoped for.

Time will tell; Reverse
By Voice of Lara
My previous post on this title was one of my best ever-the varied feedback that got me thrilled, flexible, refreshing and most importantly got me informed in all made it so. Many thanks to loads of debatable opinions that enriched the experience that birthed this reverse, that was after my eyes got opened to an altered dimension to the subject using a different views lens. The only constant thing in life is change - a confirmation.
Unexpected situations occur constantly
There is nothing that is, or that has been, that isn't dependent on the power of the mind. Your conscious mind acts upon what your subconscious mind believes. Life sometimes deals us with catastrophic challenges that are beyond our control such like natural disasters. Though natural hazards like flooding and fire out break are beyond our ability to control but one must device a means of dealing with such situations when they occur.
33 Marriage Counsel for the Married and especially for the Single
By ChiDubem Michael
The rate of broken marriages and relationships are seriously alarming presently as it is on high increase in this generation. Thus, one will be wondering, what the cause or causes of these marriage and relationship conflicts are? How could a lady love her partner today and say yes to him, then tomorrow the love disappears? Why will a man violently assault the lady he claim to have loved and asked to be his partner? Why would a lady not be content with what she have, and the man lusting for another lady?

Focus Aright
Too often we focus on what we did wrong instead of what we needed to do to become better. Knowing yourself and understanding what drives your attitude and emotions is the first step to self-knowledge and self-control. Self-awareness is very important to being in control of your attitude and emotions.

Self-critic
The strongest and most destructive voice is your own. This is the still tiny voice within you. Why people can tell you what you can't do is because you lack self-confidence and have failed to believe in yourself. Perhaps, there's magic in the first syllable of the word "triumph". "You have to have confidence in your ability, and then be tough enough to follow through" - Rosalyn Carter.

You may be curious, but don't be judgmental
By ChiDubem Michael
A 24 year old boy seeing out from the (Bus Rapid Transit) BRT Bus window shout... "dad, look the trees are going behind"!
The dad smiles. Then a young couple sitting nearby, look at the 24 year old's childish behaviour with pity. Suddenly he exclaim again... "dad, look the clouds are running with us"!
The couple can not resist, and then say to the old man... "why don't you take your son to a good doctor?"
The old man smile and say... "I did and we are just coming from the hospital. My son was blind from birth and just got his sight today".
Every single person on the planet has a story. Don't judge people before you truly know them. The truth might surprise you. You may be curious, but don't be judgmental.
Time will tell
By Voice of Lara
I listened to my father's repetitive fuse about the shortcomings of monogamy, which he blamed on civilization and colonisation but then, I was too young, too naive to comprehend. I had listened to how he faulted colonisation for the reason of monogamy and explained how his progenitors were doing so well in polygamous matrimony until the white man came and introduced them to the deceit called one man one wife.
Foundation of a successful life
Ones limitation is not a function of his condition; it is a function of his decision. Only the limits of our mind-set can determine the boundaries of our future. "For success, attitude is equally as important as ability" - Walter Scott.
However, the incredible impact of attitude can never be adequately convey by words. The most significant decision you can make on a day-to-day basis is your choice of attitude. Thus, ones attitude is more important than his past, education, success or failure, fame or pain, what people think of you and say about you, your circumstances, or position.

Kyle Kent: Cohabit Chapter 1
By Aiki Damilola
The striped barricades were raised of yellow truck. The driver drove straight through, nodding curtly at the guard. The truck was deftly maneuvered past the towering building and rows of parked cars marked with the logo of ErenCorp.
The truck eventually came to a stop before a sprawling warehouse at the back of the enormous compound. A loud hiss accompanied the switching off of the truck's huge engine. A man stepped out of the warehouse. His black leather jacket flailed wildly in the cold night wind. Ten more people came out behind him.
They made towards the truck.
How many? The man at the head of the column asked the driver crisply as he got to the truck. He spoke with a baritone that raised doubts about his possession of a vocal cord. The driver saw that parts of his neck still bore aftereffects of a run-in with fire. A long scar ran down the length of his right cheek.
Fifteen. The driver responded.
Living in Truth
Did you listen to the better angels of your nature, or did you compromise for a short term advantage? The principle of integrity to your values seems to be a law of the universe. Whenever you compromise your integrity for anything, it seems to be a great power of retribution that will not allow you to get away with it.

I’m Talking to The Man in The Mirror
By Voice of Lara
Folks have charged me of being westenised which I didn't receive as a compliment because it wasn't meant as such. Instead, it was considered unflattering and discredited to my native upbringing. I mean, I wouldn't be caught dead tying a wrapper and a blouse to work on a weekday; neither would I speak my indigenous language carelessly in a corporate environment unless situations required but that doesn't portray me as less cultured.
